Wow! Liz Mahoney grew up in the world famous East Coast pizza business and she has learned her trade well. Liz and her husband Michael have parlayed her 17 years of restaurant experience in Austin into the best little pizzahouse in Texas. Located in the quaint house on 34th Street most recently occupied by Starlite Grill (a part of Liz' experience), Salvation Pizza offers a menu short of sides  and selections and long on some of the best thin crust Napoletana pizzas in Central Texas. Diners can choose from a list Liz calls "The Top Ten," including favorites "asparagus, bacon, jalapeno" and  "white pie, chicken, fresh garlic, proscuitto and dried sage," or they can build their own from fresh veggies, meats and cheeses. Did I say thin on sides? In addition to pizza you can order a mixed  green salad. You're not going to Salvation for salads, so prepare yourself to bite into a wonderfully authentic Mahoney family pizza.
